12 uniquely designed town homes will be adjacent to the new Museum of Contemporary Art-Denver being design by Adjaye Associates London and slated for completion in late 2006 and the new Monarch Mills Lofts, also designed by Studio Completiva. Limited by the site of 1.37 acres at 15th Street & Delgany, the Studio Completiva design team was challenged to maximize available square footage per unit while incorporating privacy and amenities one would expect in a private residence while creating a sense of community in a dense urban setting through an innovative common space and adjoined garden patio areas. Each town home is designed with areas to display art in addition to being a piece of art in its exterior design & construction. Featuring expanses of glass walls intricately intertwined with Swiss Pearl, Alphaton & Kalwall, light fills each unit from every angle. European cabinetry & appliances accentuate the contemporary design. The master baths feature walk in, fully tiled showers and a whirlpool tub, and the guest bath feature soaking tubs. Clean, crisp interior finishes & materials such as; natural maple, honed limestone, granite, and wool carpet grace the open floor plans inside. Each unit has also brought the outdoors inside by incorporating planters, patios, balconies and rooftop terraces along with the added feature of at least 2 attached garages per unit.
